As we press on with negotiations with the club, our chair Harry Warren has made the decision to step down from the role as he felt he would not be able to give the needed time to the task at hand, with his other commitments outside of the Co-operative.
All of us on the board understand and appreciate Harry’s decision and reasons and support him unanimously. Discussions with the club will not be adversely affected in anyway.
In conjunction, we will not be looking to appoint a chair in the immediate future, as we wish to focus on these negotiations solely. Roger Barnes will continue as vice chair, heading up all board meetings until a replacement is elected.
