Hello, I’m Ray Miller,
Born in Birmingham in 1933, moved to Nuneaton in 1965. I have supported the Boro’ both home and away since 1981, the year that Graham Carr came to the club. I was a life member of the Supporters Club, and an inaugural member of the Supporters Trust. At the present time I am the treasurer on the board of the Supporters Co-operative.
I have been retired since 1996, having started work in 1948. I did two years national service in the RAF- 1954 to1956, married in 1958, and have a grown up family of two.
My main pursuit over the last thirty years has been long distance walking. My wife and I were members of the LDWA (long distance walkers association). Mountain walking, long distance paths and challenge walks were what kept the adrenalin flowing.
